Biography
Fulvio Forni received the Ph.D degree in computer science and control engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, in 2010. From 2008 to 2009, he held visiting positions at the LFCS of the University of Edinburgh, U.K. and at the CCDC of the University of California Santa Barbara. Since 2011, he has been a Post-doc at the University of Liege, Belgium (FNRS). He is currently Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, U.K.
Research Interests
Differential methods for system analysis (the linearization of the system dynamics along trajectories captures the system behavior). Nonlinear control and hybrid control (electro-mechanical systems, systems with saturations, control with resets, impacts). Nonlinear dynamics in biology (oscillators, bistability) and bio-inspired robotics.
