The Friends
With the Guild of Friends at its heart the Friends of Newnham thanks donors for your annual contributions of £500 or more. We hold regular events for our Friends and in previous years you have enjoyed lectures, lunches and a wine tasting.
The Young Friends
If you are aged 28 or under you can become a Young Friend. You will enjoy the same privileges as the Friends by contributing just £5 a month.
The Clough Club
The Clough Club recognises your support in the years that you make contributions of £2,000 or more. As a member of the Clough Club you will be invited to the Friends events and other special events. Previous Clough Club celebrations have included dinners with Claire Tomalin and Dame Margaret Drabble.
The Benefactors Circle
If you give £10,000 or above over your lifetime we are delighted to recognise your generosity by welcoming you to The Benefactors Circle. You will be invited to the regular Friends events and to special events hosted by the Principal.
The Principal’s Circle
The Principal likes to acknowledge those of you who have made contributions of £50,000 or more over your lifetime by welcoming you to the Principal’s Circle. Members and a guest are invited to a College Feast, the Friends events and to exclusive Principal’s Circle events.
The Sidgwick Society
We thank those of you who have informed us that you have remembered Newnham in your will by welcoming you as a member of the Sidgwick Society. We hold special events for the Sidgwick Society every five years.
Other ways to acknowledge support
Generosity can also be acknowledged in a variety of other ways such as naming Fellowships, Bursaries or Prizes. For more information on this or any of the above please contact the Development Office.
