This carved unicorn was removed from the House of Commons in 1875 and given to Lord Charles Russell when his term as Serjeant-at-Arms ended. It came to Newnham in 1934 with the estate of his niece, Lady Agatha Russell, and now stands in the Yates Thompson Library.
